Exercise #4 – World Cultures/ World Choices
Is
the American obsession
with individual freedom really such a great
idea? What other cultures know about how to make good choices.
Absolutely, it’s great
idea not only for American but to the whole world. I studied in America 2 years
ago. I talked to my black instructor about freedom. He said to me, finally, our
children will live in pace. I surprised when he said that and I immediately
asked him why. He said that he suffer a lot 30 years ago. He said to me that
white people look at him like monster and they not allow to eat in restaurant
or to inter to any place to shop. Also he said that most white people educate
them incorrect information about back people. For ex. One of the white people
looked at him in strange way for 3 months. After these 3 months, he came to my
instructor and said “ do you have tail “.
UAE is one of the
culture who is following US lead to freedom.
How does Culture/ and the 12 Dimensions
influence:
Life
Choices ?
Thinking ?
The
changing in culture is lead to change in our life choices and thinking also.
For example Emiratis are thinking and acting different than American. Also, 12
Dimensions effect every single culture in the world. Starting with
communication, which is direct in our community because some time indirect communication
is going to lead to misunderstanding for both side. For accountability, UAE is using community
when it come with group work even with mixed environment . On the other
hand other country like Pakistan using individual because there have no open
mind and limited thinking

How \ why are the worldview between young male Saudis and Kuwaits different than young Emiraties? " Explain"
It's efferent because young Emiraties controlled by I/G so they learned that when you visit foreign countries, he should be nice and polite to them. Also our government always said "you should be respectful to other countries while you visit them because you reflect the flag of our nation. On the other hand, Saudis and Kuwaitis, the reason why they are doing this for my opinion are the pressure on them from their governments about the freedom, and the happiness of showing off. These two factor lead them to do such these inappropriate behavior .
